Above is my metal machining experience in which I worked heavily with brass, aluminum, and steel. From automatic lathes to mills, I made a fun hammer as a final project. This featured a brass head and a grippy aluminum handle for firm grips.
From welding, I learned many skills, including working with chromoly steel, aluminum. and plates/pipes. Some of the techniques I picked up from my welding course at UCI include cursive e's, dots, and zig-zag welds.
The final project for the course is the pen holder seen to the right, which incorporates many of these techniques required to make that steel holder from plates and pipes.
